Wheelers's Wake: A Biographical Novel -Volume 1. This is the story of a remarkable pioneer in the development of Canadian radio and television. But none of Wheeler's achievements were as important to the author as his role as loving father. Andrew Clyde Little later fashioned a career on the foundation his father established. Published in 2010 by Trafford Press

A Way With Words. Published in 2007 by Trafford Press, it is a book about writing - how he acquired the skill as a child and used it to fashion a career that included newspapers, a wire service, radio, television, magazines and books. It is his fourth book.

Time Exposures, published by Trafford Press in Victoria, is an 8x8 inch, 90 page book, designed to look like an old fashioned photo album. It is based on the concept that in a fast changing world, there are still some things that have remained the same - lifeguard stands, deck chairs, canoes, tire swings, hammocks, etc. The black and white photographs are inscribed with the author's personal memories he associated with the images. The introduction invites readers to conjure up their own memories about these holdouts from the past.

Before Whispers Become Silence was published by Penumbra Press in the fall of 2003. It chronicles Little’s coming to terms with his mother’s suicide, when he was 17, and his father’s death a little more than a year later. The author’s mother had been under the care of Dr. Ewen Cameron, the Montreal psychiatrist who used CIA funds to conduct brainwashing experiments on patients without their consent. So the memoir is a bit of a whodunit as we learn the reasons why Little’s mother took her own life. It also outlines some of the highlights of Little’s 25-year career as a television journalist in Quebec, a turbulent time in the province’s political history.

In 2001 Penumbra Press published On the Road Again … Again, a collection of essays and photographs from Little’s five-year stint as a producer for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s award winning weekly network TV program, On the Road Again. These are profiles of ordinary Canadians doing extraordinary things. There are accounts from all ten provinces, the Territories and the Yukon. Some of the photographs are featured on this website, but for the full story you can order the book from Penumbra Press or through your neighborhood book store.

Little spends his winters in Florida where he is on the Board of Directors of the Anna Maria Island Historical Society. In 2003 the Society published Early Days, an account of Island history written by Carolyne Norwood and edited by Betsy Atkinson. Little was the book’s photo editor, rescuing and restoring the many old pictures that are reproduced in Early Days. He plans to team up with Norwood and Atkinson again in 2004 for a second book, bringing the Island history from the forties to the present. You can order Early Days by writing the Society at P.O. Box 4315, Anna Maria, FL 34216.
